I work at the intersection of political philosophy, public policy and journalism. My work moves between research, editorial projects, and public programmes — writing for a general readership, coordinating editorial formats, designing and running event series on questions of justice and inequality, and building institutional structures from the ground up.

Philosophy of Climate Emotions (proseminar). Fear, grief, guilt and hopelessness in the face of the climate crisis, examined through classical and contemporary theories of emotion, with attention to their epistemic and moral significance for responsibility and action.
Planen, Hoffen, Handeln (advanced seminar). Modes of future-orientation across action theory, philosophy of emotion, ethics and political philosophy: intentions and plans, the rationality of hope, obligations arising from our relation to the future, and the democratic representation of future generations.

What is a Republic? (Daniel Carpenter, Spring 2025). Four weekly seminars of 12–15 students, organisational support for a lecture course of 270, assessment and mentoring. The course examined representation, institutions and civic virtue in republican government, from Rome to modern democracies.
Justice: Ethical Reasoning in Polarized Times (Michael Sandel, Fall 2024). Two weekly seminars of 12–15 students, organisational support for a lecture course of 800, assessment and mentoring. Harvard's best-known course in moral and political philosophy, returned to in-person teaching for the first time in over a decade.
I was responsible for data protection at a civil society foundation for over four years, independently developing and implementing a comprehensive data protection framework across the organization.
My work included drafting policies, ensuring legal compliance, managing incidents, and maintaining communication with regulatory authorities. I advised leadership and teams on data protection matters and designed and delivered training for over 150 staff.
The role combined legal analysis with organizational and operational responsibility.

I have worked in a range of roles across the public and private sectors, including sales, data work, education, publishing, and event operations.
This included acquiring and managing clients in office-space sales, working with large datasets as a database administrator, and providing one-on-one tutoring in mathematics and English. I also supported a municipal election office during state elections, contributing to the administration of postal voting and responding to citizen inquiries.
In addition, I worked in publishing and retail, provided IT-focused warehouse support during peak operations, and managed service workflows at large-scale events. I also contributed to research and editorial work at a federal research institution, including developing an online research platform.
